For the Love of Cappuccino

For the Love of Cappuccino

Coffee beverage of choice.

One of the best purchases I made upon arrival in Syracuse, was my espresso machine. I picked it up at a church yard sale for $5… learned how to froth milk, and now consume as many cappuccinos as I like! Such blissful gluttony!!

The absence of fair trade coffee beans in the grocery stores means I usually choose Starbucks or Peet’s coffee beans. I started drinking Peet’s in 2005 when I moved to the Bay Area for school… and STILL when I make coffee with their beans, the distinctly rustic, sweet, dark aroma brings back memories of Berkeley. I love it.

This morning’s cappuccino was particularly indulgent; yellow cake dusted with cinnamon powdered sugar.
