I put chai tea in my portafilter!!<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve been drinking so much espresso lately, that I was in desperate need for something lighter. I did some quick google searches to see if tea will work in an espresso machine. Most results said no, but I did it anyways. My process was the same with coffee. I emptied 3 chai teabags into the portafilter, tamped it, and secured it onto the machine. I was a bit dubious that it would work with just 3 teabags because the volume is fractional to that of coffee. But I did it anyways, and the tea that came out was nice and concentrated in flavor. Success!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Topped with steamed milk, and cinnamon. Yumyum.
